Rules and Regulations for AirCIC Guests and Hosts

GUESTS

Credo for Guests

  • Help us help you help us make our innovation facilities more efficient.

  • Use it like you own it. When you arrive, email AirCIC@cic.us if you notice anything broken or damaged in the office, and please include photos. You may be responsible for damage that appears to have occurred during your stay, just like a rental car.

  • Leave no trace. Return the space to the clean and tidy state in which you found it.

  • Be an active participant. Engage in that CIC neighborhood’s vibrant community, even if you’re only there for a short while.

  • Share your thoughts. We welcome constructive feedback on this experiment, so please share your ideas via email to AirCIC@cic.us.

  • Use responsibly. CIC responsibly.

Rules & Regulations of the AirCIC Program for Guests

  • You may not enter or use an office that is part of AirCIC unless/until you have already reserved it.

  • AirCIC room prices can and will change from time to time.

  • Charges corresponding to the prices listed on the Roomzilla web page at the time you reserved the office will appear on your next regular monthly invoice.

  • For clarity, you are not covered by any CIC or Host insurance that may be in place. You are responsible for any damage you cause (CIC is not), and for the actions of any invitees you bring into AirCIC spaces. If you want loss protection, you are responsible for your own insurance.

  • All the fine print in the Service Agreement applies equally here, e.g. liability, acceptable use rules and regulations, insurance, indemnification, subordination.

  • CIC may end the AirCIC program, or terminate your access at any time, in its sole discretion.

HOSTS

Credo for Hosts

  • AirCIC hosting is not just an efficient and interesting way to use your space--it’s also a responsibility, as others will rely on you.

  • Sharing is caring. You’re offering up your entire space, including your furniture, fixtures and whiteboard; lock up anything that isn’t fair game.

  • A clean slate. Leave your space clean and tidy for your AirCIC guests.

  • We’re here to help. When you return, email AirCIC@cic.us if you notice anything broken or damaged in the office, and please include photos.  We’ll help with this.

  • Share your thoughts. We welcome constructive feedback on this experiment, so please share your ideas via email to AirCIC@cic.us.

  • Use responsibly. CIC responsibly.

Rules & Regulations of the AirCIC Program for Hosts

  • You must maintain your own room listing on Roomzilla.  If it is booked, it is the Guest's right to use it.

  • You must make your office presentable for Guests' use at all times you list it as available.

  • Do not leave valuables unsecured in your office.  CIC is not responsible for losses; not all Guests are insured.

  • CIC will credit your regular monthly invoice in the amount of 50% of the fees it actually receives from AirCIC guests, up to the total of your invoice.

  • For now, every AirCIC Guest has key access to every Host Office at all times.  We may refine this over time.

  • CIC may end the AirCIC program, or terminate your participation in it at any time, in its sole discretion

  • All the fine print in the Service Agreement applies equally here, e.g. liability, acceptable use rules and regulations, insurance, indemnification, subordination.
