10 Best Startup Boston Events for Students

Calling all student entrepreneurs! Startup Boston has ample opportunities for students of all levels to learn more about entrepreneurship and gain valuable information about building a company.

Kick off this week of free events at Entrepreneurs Without Tech Skills: Options for Non-Coding Founders to learn how startups can gain traction without building tech products. Alternatively, if you are interested in learning how to build a tech product, check out Creating a Great Prototype, Without Breaking the Bank: Part 1 and Part 2

Take advantage of the opportunity to learn from veteran startup founders at Don’t Fall in Love: Avoiding Over-attachment to Startup Ideas or attend the bare-all lightning talk How to Determine if Startup Life is Right for You. You can also sign up to meet with seasoned professionals to discuss their experiences and careers insights at the Mentor Exchange

Already have an idea for your startup? Co-founder Matching: Find the Right Business Partner and Before the Pitch: Finding and Building Relationships with the Right Investors are great for those looking to learn how to develop strategic relationships. You’ll leave with tips on what skill sets to look for in a business partner and how to build authentic relationships with investors.

If you are a student-run company (either grad or undergrad) that has an exciting product you’d love to share with Boston’s startup community, sign up for the Startup Boston Student Innovators Fair. We also recommend attending How to Build a Winning Startup Team While in School to learn how to grow your business while crushing it in school.

Wrap up the week alongside other students at Friday’s Startup-Interested Student Mixer. And who knows who you’ll meet. Your cofounder just might be in the room!
