On Saturday, January 21st, over 1.700 people attended the official opening party of CIC Miami. With visitors from as far as Santiago and Tokyo, guests enjoyed a fair of innovation with great food, drink, and entertainment. Check out photos here!

CIC Miami is  located in between the large health district and the rest of the city’s innovation corridor with University of Miami, directly next to the famous and ever-colorful Wynwood neighborhood, and is already home to a growing community of startups and innovative companies in tech, life sciences, and more.

What’s especially awesome about this? As a part of our CIC Passport program, every CIC client has the right to use this space at no extra cost, including working out of the co-working there, use a meeting room, etc. Venture Cafe Miami has also launched – hosting weekly gatherings with great content every Thursday.

Miami and Rotterdam have a lot in common. Both are port cities – Miami’s port is the 11th largest cargo container port in the US, accounting for over 170K jobs and $18 billion in revenue. Like Rotterdam, Miami is also home to a vibrant life sciences and health cluster.

At CIC, we’re passionate about building international connections between startups and facilitating international expansion. Are you a CIC client interested in visiting Miami or meeting with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, or large companies there? Contact the CIC Rotterdam team and we will do our best to help connect you.

And don’t forget: CIC also has locations in Cambridge and Boston, Massachusetts, and St. Louis, Missouri. Check them out!
