June 13, 2019 CIC is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Moreau to General Manager of CIC’s Massachusetts campus. In this role, Mark will oversee external relationship building, strategic planning and business operations for CIC’s Massachusetts innovation centers, which include 50 Milk Street in downtown Boston as well as 101 Main, One Broadway, and the company’s newest building, 245 Main, in Kendall Square. A 14-year veteran of CIC, Mark has held roles across a variety of teams within the organization, the most recent being Strategic Director of Operations for North America Centers.

"Mark is a core member of the CIC team from early days, having played a key part in helping grow the company from one location to more than four sites in Massachusetts,” shared Tim Rowe, Founder and CEO of CIC. “He has held nearly every job at the company as he has supported CIC's expansion to what it is today. I'm thrilled to see him stepping in to lead CIC's work in Massachusetts as we continue to help spur economic development in the innovation districts that we have established over the last two decades.”

Headquartered in Cambridge, CIC aims to continue to play an integral part in the Massachusetts innovation ecosystem, drawing in high-tech innovators, specialized startups, and companies from every field — and housing innovation globalization programs for more than a dozen countries including the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Canada, and China.

“I’ve been lucky to grow with CIC as CIC itself has grown,” Moreau stated. “I have learned so much from the entrepreneurs at CIC and will do everything I can to continue to make CIC the best place for a startup to call home. In addition to that, I’m excited to use my experience to strengthen our roots in the communities surrounding our centers, find new ways we can bring more residents of the Commonwealth into the innovation ecosystem, and help the startup economy in Massachusetts continue to grow.”
