Tea Talk: Swedish "Fika" and the Debate Over Open Borders

Craving more than “small talk” on a regular basis? Come and actively engage in stimulating conversation centered around important cultural topics, over a cup of tea. CIC Boston is excited to invite you to a monthly reoccurring event called Tea Talk. here at 50 Milk. It is an open tea and conversation event designed at fostering a diverse community.

This month's talk is centered around Sweden, the practice of "fika," and the debate over diversification following the Swedish government's 2015 desicion to close its borders to undocumented immigrants. Come engage with Anna Person, Christina Björnström, and Erik Högberg from the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce as they share their insights, coffee, and famous Swedish pastries!
