[POSTPONED] The Scaling Playbook

So you've launched your startup. But do you have a plan to scale?

Join Truss at CIC Boston for a panel on what you need to know to scale. Learn about raising capital, creating a strategy, selecting the right space and all the resources you'll need along the way.

Q&A to follow. Beer & Wine and light bites provided.

About Truss:

Truss is a leading online marketplace to help small and medium sized business owners find, tour and lease space. Our tech-enabled platform and our people help you find the right space for the best price in record time.

We help small businesses find office, coworking, industrial and retail space with more than 300 million square feet available and counting. Our technology enables business owners to find the right space confidently by comparing spaces in our marketplace. Truss also offers dedicated brokers who act as the point person throughout the seamless process.

Plus, we are the only platform to offer price transparency for small business owners, which means we’re the only site to compare pricing on traditional office space and coworking space.

The result? You have the best information and a straightforward way to efficiently lease space you can call home.

About CIC:

In 1999, “coworking” wasn’t a household term, let alone a standard office option. That year, CIC became the first provider of shared office space in Cambridge’s Kendall Square, now known as the most innovative square mile on the planet. The mission was the same then as it is now: to support entrepreneurs in fixing the world through innovation. As of 2018, over 5,000 companies had chosen CIC as their platform for growth, and we’ve grown along the way, too. Since 2014, we have expanded to six cities with several more campuses under development. Whether looking at our own growth or that of our clients, we find it most meaningful to examine the bigger picture: how our work improves our communities.

Pioneering Personalized Nutrients WellTalk

The US supplement market can be an intimidating place for the consumer. They are unsure of which supplements they need, the ingredients in the supplement, and whether it actually works. These days, anyone can put a powder in a pill capsule, claim it is necessary, and sell it at a high price. How do you know who to trust? How do you know what actually works?

In this talk, Philipp Schulte, CEO at Baze Labs Inc., will be explaining the importance of personalized nutrients and how his company provides supplements with results the user can understand and monitor with ease.

Healthy snacks will be provided!

Let us know you're coming, click here!

Philipp has spent the past 10 years working across the Life Sciences. This has given him a first-row view on the changing paradigms and new technologies that will turn the 21st century into the age of biology. For his own small contribution to this vision, Philipp co-founded Baze. The little secret here is that Philipp is not too fond of veggies but knows how important the right nutrients are for health and well-being. A smart alternative had to be found

When not thinking about grand visions and nutrients, Philipp loves spending time with his family, the mountains , and good food & wine.

Sister Wisdom Project: Unleashing Your Feminine Power @ Work (time change)

Have you ever felt like you had to hide your femininity at work? Do you wish you could act, dress, and express yourself with more authentically, but worry that you will be called "sensitive", "emotional", or "weak"?

As women, we receive subtle and blatant messages about how a woman should behave at work in order to be respected and succeed in the business world.

Too often, this leads women to subvert their femininity as they try and fit into a "man's world".

Yet, it is crucial for women to learn that their femininity is not only an asset but also the first step in becoming a true authentic powerhouse in business and in life. Come to this event and discover how to own your feminine power.

Sign up here to save your spot!

Cherina Eisenberg is an ordained rabbi, speaker, educator, and performer. Presenting on topics of creativity, authenticity, and feminine empowerment, she creates sacred space for women to discover how to tune-in, turn-on, and radiate their unique light into the world. She is also a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu energy healing practitioner and natural foods chef. Cherina has offered programs at institutions, including Harvard University, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and at synagogues and women's gatherings across the nation.
