CIC Philadelphia Update, Current Events + June 5th PHL County ‘Yellow Phase’

As we move towards wanting a sense of normalcy this Friday with the reopening of many businesses under the ‘Yellow Phase,’ we want to acknowledge that there should not be a sense of normalcy in what was previously known. What was perceived normal has proven to not work for some, therefore, it should not be masked as working for all. What we can do, is continue to work together towards creating a better world, city, and community for all. Innovation constantly challenges the status quo. We are proud to serve a community of clients who are actively working to make the world a better place each day.

Black Lives Matter

We believe that this isn’t someone else’s problem to fix. It is ours. My hope is that we find in this pain the catalyst to push all of us to act to change the systems that created this situation. The onus is on us to look at the ways in which we contribute to, benefit from, and perpetuate racist structures. This is both in society at large, and within our own organizations.
