Alli leads CIC’s innovation center development growth to new cities.  Before joining CIC, she spent several years in private equity (space technology, software, and commercial real estate direct investment) in Reston, VA and 15 years at Marriott International HQ in Bethesda, MD, with increasingly senior roles in Corporate Finance, Asset Management and Real Estate (acquisitions, dispositions, direct investment in single and portfolio assets), totaling $2.0B in company direct asset investment and brand growth implementation transactions with both domestic and global partners.  Her work included various types of contract negotiation, new brand development, asset repositioning, historic renovations and special projects, in the US, Europe (the UK, France, Scotland), Asia (China, Kazakhstan) and Latin America (Costa Rica, Brazil).  She graduated from Vanderbilt University (BA in Philosophy and Literary Theory) and the University of Maryland (MBA in Finance), and is based in Washington, DC.

Sarah leads CIC’s expansion to new cities to build innovation infrastructure – both programmatic and physical. Since the inception of CIC’s expansion efforts as a two-person task force in 2012, Sarah has built and led the team that designs the strategy, development, and financing of expansion to new markets. Working closely with public and private stakeholders in each city, Sarah’s team has launched 1.2 million square feet across campuses around the globe.
