Sea Level Rise Pillar Event

This is an event to get more millennials activated in the community and focused on sea level rise. We are the generation that will be most affected by the decisions we make today, however we are the group least involved in these decisions. Susan Torriente, Miami Beach's chief resiliency officer and Tonya Daniels, Miami Beach's director of marketing and communications, will lead a discussion on the big tasks ahead for Miami and Miami Beach via their complete workplan. We will then vote on 3 projects to focus on.

This event is open to anyone looking for a way to get involved in shaping the future of our city.

Welcome to the Legal Community

The welcome to the legal community that every lawyer (or future lawyer) should have.

On Saturday, October 6, join Sidebar for our launch event Welcome to the SoFlo Legal Scene, a day of fun, food, prizes and networking!

During this event, attendees can choose how they'd best like to spend their time: visiting the forum booths and chatting with representatives from local organizations during our Legal Organization Forum, attending interactive presentations, networking in our unique JD Collaboration Rooms, or meeting the creative minds behind Sidebar.

Whether a law student, young lawyer, new transplant to the South Florida legal community, or veteran lawyer looking to get involved in a local organization, Sidebar’s Welcome event is open to any local legal professional looking to transform South Florida’s legal community from fragmented and exclusionary to collaborative and welcoming.

This isn’t an expensive, stuffy lawyer event that we know most modern lawyers (or law students) don’t want to spend their time at. With our deep knowledge of what is traditionally done, Sidebar has raised the by bar on lawyer events by reimagining, re-engineering, and reinvigorating the traditional. Applying design thinking principles and a copious amount of creativity, Sidebar presents curated events tailored to the modern lawyer. Give lawyer events one more try with Sidebar; we promise you won't be disappointed!
