CIC Berlin to Host Inaugural Event – “ampli’FIND” – for the Local Innovation Community

  • CIC’s newest Innovation Campus is opening its doors to the community for an extraordinary evening of innovation, connection, and creativity
  • The event also marks the first Venture Café Berlin Thursday Gathering event, kicking off a monthly event series through 2024 

On October 10, CIC Berlin, the newly launched innovation campus featuring shared workspace, programming and event space at the historic Lohmühlenstraße 65 factory, is set to open its doors to the local community for an exciting day of events and activities focused on connection, exploration, and innovation. This event will also mark the inaugural Venture Café Berlin Thursday Gathering, kicking off a monthly series that will continue through 2024.

The theme of the event, ampli’FIND – from local groundbreakers to global shakers, centers around the idea of breaking down barriers and creating meaningful connections in the context of Berlin’s dynamic tech and innovation scene. The day will feature a robust lineup of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all aimed at tackling some of the biggest topics in tech and innovation today. Regardless of your primary area of focus – from AI to climate tech, food tech, life sciences, or another, CIC Berlin is building a community to bring together the amazing Berlin community of innovators.

Event Highlights:

  • Keynote Speakers: Thought leaders and innovators from various industries will take the stage to share insights on the future of technology, the importance of collaboration, and the power of innovation in shaping our world.
    • Speakers include: Christoph Raethke, Cephas Ndubueze, Klaus G. Kammermeier, Maren Lesche, Sama Siddiqui, Gianni Giacomelli, Jean Arnaud, Michaela Jamelska, Neil Metzler, Sam Rowe, Tobias Szarowicz
  • Panel Discussions: Dive deep into the most pressing issues in the tech world with panels that bring together experts from diverse fields. Highlights include:
    • Berlin’s Startup Scene: From 2017’s Boom to 2024’s Future – What’s Next?
    • AI – Where are we headed and how can we build the future responsibly?
    • New kid on the block! Get to know Venture Café and get involved
    • Beats & Business: The Art of Mixing Creativity with Commerce
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with other innovators, entrepreneurs, and professionals during dedicated networking sessions. This will include interactive pitch sessions, demo tables from some of the leading AI startups, and more. 
  • Other Activities: Enjoy amazing DJ sets from Lloyd Keene, Kevin Keene, Benjamin Olayinka, and Emo Rugene to keep the energy high throughout the night!

This event will also serve as the inaugural Venture Café Berlin Thursday Gathering, a weekly public event designed to foster community building, facilitate connections, and provide valuable resources to startups, investors, universities, research institutions, students, and other stakeholders.
