Spring has finally arrived here in Boston (we hope!). This time of year is associated with flowers and lightness, but it's also a season the demands strength. As Changemakers, we all call upon our inner strengths to help empower each other, but our May Changemaker works in a field that often requires a different level of strength.
Sachiyo Minegishi has always been interested in how we can solve healthcare: How can we develop new medicines? How do we help people figure out what medicines are best for them? How can people better access the care they need?
Over the course of the last twenty years, Sachiyo's curiosity has led her to explore many different cities and multiple disciplines - from engineering to finance to non-profit to marketing to business development and management. Her journey eventually led Sachiyo to her current role here in Boston as Global Lead for Sickle Cell Disease Programs at bluebird bio.
Changemaker Chats is a volunteer based organization, and we rely on donations from sponsors and attendees to continue to offer our events to women in the Boston area and across the globe. While we do ask for a small donation for attendance to our events, if cost is ever a barrier, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
