Strategy, Art, and Legos Series: Building a Value Design Toolkit

This biweekly, hands-on series of workshops has been created for leaders who seek to better identify, design, and sustain sources of company value during times of relentless change.

Content: Workshop content is divided into four clusters. Each cluster contains four sessions plus a final, longer session. The final session will be a juried value pitch competition in which you will pitch your application of design tools to a panel of experts. 

  • Cluster One, Strategy: Design tools for exploring and modeling critical strategic considerations that affect value.
  • Cluster Two, Art: Design tools for telling powerful value stories in words and numbers.
  • Cluster Three, Legos I: Design tools for creating high-impact, low-stress financial and valuation models.
  • Cluster Four, Legos II: A new leadership model that has been successful under the most extreme circumstances and will definitively influence value.

Although each session can be taken separately, you will benefit most by attending a whole cluster since sessions build on each other. The entire series is even better!

Who May Attend: To maximize this experience, attendance is limited to 14 people. Attendees should be on a management team. Only 2 attendees per company are allowed. Only 4 slots are reserved for seed stage startups. Service providers/other vendors are not eligible to attend.

Cost: $20 per person per session. 25% discount to CICers (i.e. $15 per person per session). This covers breakfast and materials.

Meals: A continental breakfast from Tatte Bakery will be served at all sessions, including the pitch competitions.
