Jen Jekel-Farrell - Relationship Management and Sales

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I currently live in St. Louis in a self-rehabbed brick bungalow with my family, and I spend my time rediscovering the world with my kiddo, reading, cooking, gardening, and listening to music/making up my own interpretive dances in my living room that my cat critiques (his reviews are devastating).

As a Relationship Manager, what do you do? What does your workday look like?

Although no day at CIC is the same (which is awesome!), basically, I help people.

I typically have a tour or two scheduled where I show potential clients around and see if CIC would be a fit for their needs. In between, I have meetings or touch base with any current clients who need assistance with new spaces or invoice questions. My team is active in the community so we try to join any entrepreneur or startup events in the area, and I’m also on the newsletter team, taking part in the new wellness initiative we’re starting at CIC St. Louis, and jumping in wherever else I’m needed!

What's something about you that may surprise people?

My first job was at age 12, as an Arrow Technician and Vending Machine Restocker in my family’s archery range. I made $2.50 an hour plus snacks.

What's your favorite snack in the CIC kitchen?

Bridge mix. It’s a one-sided love/hate relationship.
