As General Manager of CIC New England, Stacey Messier provides tangible value to an innovation-driven and community-oriented ecosystem. Since joining CIC, she has helped propel innovation forward by curating an engaging, collaborative environment that in turn enables startups, corporations, and public entities to grow and solve local and global issues. This is particularly true and evident from her leadership at CIC's innovation campus in Kendall Square, which sits in the heart of Cambridge's innovation district and supports the development and growth of industry clusters. These clusters are vibrant hubs where ideas collide, synergies emerge, and creativity thrives.

Under Stacey's leadership, CIC campuses across New England have largely rebounded post-pandemic. There has also been a significant uptick in the creation of hubs and groups aimed at tackling bigger challenges impacting the community at large: AI Hub, Mass Mobility Hub, SeaAhead, and the Health Innovation Hub led by ARPA-H. These hubs serve as magnets for talent, drawing in visionaries, entrepreneurs, and researchers who are eager to be part of a dynamic ecosystem; ultimately fostering innovation. Since expanding her remit to Massachusetts (in addition to Providence, RI), Stacey has been actively working to build connections amongst and support the local community. She actively follows state and local governmental updates to best educate, inform, and support CIC's local startup ecosystem across different industries.
