Dear Reader,
It is with pride that I present the CIC Warsaw 2025 Impact Report. In a year defined by global shifts, our campus proved that innovation remains inherently pan-national. As Poland entered the G20—a signal of a resilient economy the world can no longer overlook—CIC Warsaw served as its heartbeat, connecting founders, investors, and researchers from over 40 countries.
While our community grew to 1,000 members across 500 events, our true impact lies in the depth of our roots. Sixty-one percent of our clients grew their teams this year, and 90% of our long-term members renewed their commitment to us. These aren’t just occupancy stats; they are a testament to a community that works. From Femtech Fridays to our bridge with Startup Terrace Taiwan, we’ve expanded what it means to connect across borders.
The culmination of this effort—and five years of building from the ground up—arrived as we were named one of Europe’s Leading Startup Hubs 2025 by the Financial Times for the second year in a row. This recognition belongs to every person who walked through our doors with an idea worth pursuing.
Purpose without progress is a wish. Progress without purpose is noise. In 2025, we had both — and Poland was the right place to prove it.

Activating Startups
In 2025, Venture Café Warsaw truly embodied the spirit of “connecting innovators to make things happen” on a global scale. We dismantled barriers by building inclusive bridges, such as our partnership with Startup Terrace Taiwan, which became a vital gateway for startups scaling between Asian and European markets. From empowering “responsible innovators” through the UNDP Green Boost program to bridging the gap between academic excellence and the Polish venture scene with Columbia University, we proved that collaboration grows stubbornly even when headlines suggest otherwise.
Our flagship Thursday Gathering reached a record-breaking average attendance of 350 people per event, signaling a deep hunger for high-quality connection. To serve this growth, we launched “zero-fluff” initiatives like Behind the Code for the developer community and Femtech Fridays, a dedicated residency for women-led innovation. These programs were the catalysts for cross-border pilots and meaningful collaborations where empathy and human kindness acted as our compass.
Beyond the metrics, 2025 was defined by the belief that innovation is a team sport. I am incredibly proud of how our “mighty team” turned global networking into tangible local impact for over 10,000 diverse minds this year. We aren’t just building companies; we are strengthening the fabric of an international movement. By fostering an environment where the public sector, academia, and grassroots tech communities can collide, we are ensuring that the CIC Innovation Campus remains the beating heart of Warsaw’s future economy.

Chmielna 73 is a premier event center located in the prestigious Varso Place complex, the tallest building in Europe, right in the heart of Warsaw. As an integral part of the CIC Warsaw Innovation Campus, this modern venue serves as a dynamic meeting point for corporations, startups, and international organizations, hosting nearly a thousand events every year. Its unique position within a thriving innovation ecosystem provides a professional yet inspiring backdrop for networking, knowledge sharing, and high-level business gatherings, making it one of the city’s most sought-after business addresses.
The venue offers over 1,000 m² of highly flexible space, featuring 12 diverse rooms that can be easily adapted for everything from intimate workshops to large-scale conferences and hybrid events. Guests benefit from state-of-the-art multimedia infrastructure, including advanced LED displays and professional sound systems, all within an eco-friendly environment that holds WELL and BREEAM Outstanding certifications. With its unbeatable proximity to the Central Railway Station and an on-site hotel offering over 300 rooms, Chmielna 73 provides a seamless and convenient experience for both local and international event organizers.
