CIC Now Accepting Entries for New Massachusetts Social Impact Cohort
Today, CIC, a global leader in building and operating innovation ecosystems for venture-backed startups in whom $17B has been invested to date, announced it is accepting applications for its new Massachusetts Social Impact Cohort. This special initiative is made possible by the Capital Readiness Program grant awarded by the Biden-Harris Administration, in which CIC was the only Massachusetts company selected to receive funds.
The Minority Business Development Agency Selects CIC for its Capital Readiness Program to Support Underserved Entrepreneurs in Massachusetts
Vice President Kamala Harris recently announced that CIC was selected for the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Capital Readiness Program, the U.S. Commerce Department’s largest investment in support of underserved entrepreneurs. Of the 43 awardees, CIC was the only Massachusetts entity selected by the Department of Commerce for this program. CIC, which builds and operates a global network of innovation campuses where startups, scale-ups and enterprises work, connect and grow, was honored during a ceremony at the White House on August 4, 2023.
