Boston’s Startup Week, taking place September 10 through 14, has tons of content in different areas: marketing, hiring, founding a company, etc. But if you’re not looking for educational content, or if you aren’t able to step away from your desk between 9am and 5pm to attend an event, is there anything Startup Boston can offer you?
The answer is yes. In fact, Startup Week has a few events just for you.
On Monday, come join the opening party and keynote at Alley Cambridge. Here you can mingle with other innovators and celebrate Boston’s startup scene.
General Assembly is hosting Intro to the Boston Startup Community on Tuesday with a panel discussion featuring Jay Neely, Chandra Briggman, and more. General Assembly reliably organizes great events and has a beautiful new space on Summer Street.
Wednesday’s Startup Dealflow Mixer is a more structured networking event that requires a request to attend and is intended for investors. If that’s you, be sure to request an invitation!
Venture Café, one of CIC’s signature weekly events, is hosting a special night for Startup Week and Boston Fintech Week. As usual, they’ll have office hours, demos, and networking for all who wish to attend. If you can’t make this event, don’t worry — Venture Café happens every Thursday at One Broadway in Cambridge’s Kendall Square.
There’s also the PULSE@MassChallenge Launch event on Thursday for anyone interested in innovation in healthcare. This one takes place at the Microsoft NERD Center just across the street from CIC Cambridge, so it’s totally possible to attend both of these Thursday night events.
Startup Week’s final 2018 event is their closing party at our beloved sister space, District Hall, complete with keynote by Jody Rose, the President of the New England Venture Capital Association. A great wrap to a fantastic week of building connections, nourishing existing relationships, and getting out there in the Boston startup world!
